I think I'll get this - the eclecticism of 'Ambivilence Avenue' reminded me (in a good way) of early Beck; I still need to procure the Mush Records output, though.

This album is fucking sweet. I love that it's a representation of his whole "crew." It has a very fun vibe to it. You can hear a group of friends influencing each other. And the packaging is beautiful.

think i prefer bibio's new tracks on this to a lot of the stuff on ambivalence (and obviously i loved that from start to finish...) just sounds like he's getting more and more confident. the world is his oyster creatively i'm thinking. Cant wait to hear where he goes next...

TAatT didn't strike me like Ambivalence Avenue did. It still has its moments though.

Rotten Rudd rocks my world. It takes me back to my childhood, running through the woods and digging in the dirt. I am particularly fond of Letherette's remix of 'Lover's Carvings' Clark's version of 'S'Vive' and Lone's remix of 'All The Flowers'. It's all great. I love this fresh direction Bibio has taken with his start on Warp.

Agreed...Rotten Rudd's one of his best tunes. Very much an homage to classic Brit rock, but unlike anything else done before it. The compression still bothers me though...hard to hear half of what's going on in it, and there's a lot there.

Love the Lone remix very much... I disagree with all the hating on the 'non-quantized', mpc beats though... Really adds a unique swagger to it; it's one of the things I love most of about Lone's work!

can anyone make out the lyrics to Rotten Rudd and post them here? It would be greatly, and i mean GREATLY appreciated. Still can't get enough of this track, it's been played over a 100 times on my iTunes playlist.

Haha, I remember when I first listened to it, I just kinda started singing to it.. not really realizing what the lyrics were, but trying to sing it anyway Once I found out what the lyrics were though, not only was I able to sing the song correctly, but I was able to connect to the song on much deeper note. Just takes me straight back to when I was much smaller and carefree

this (kindof) album has a very high replay value.

Makes me think of back in the day when i was first discovering this music and all i heard from bibio was "fi" and he had released nothing else. i was generally unimpressed and figured i'd never listen to the guy again. PSH. now he is in constant rotation.

Ok, Just wanted to post here that I got a copy. W00T! #385! Was in the record store today, (haven't been there in months) and I was digging thru albums and I found it. At first I didn't think it was real. Also, It was cheeper than the CD! WIN!!!
