Thanks dude. Although I recently said I didn't feel like composing anymore, I discovered a load of beautiful electronic music on Youtube recently and it gave me sufficient inspiration and musical libido to give Ableton Live a try. I've been meaning to check that program out for a long time but due to sheer sloth and laziness I hadn't gotten around to it earlier. I've finally acquainted myself with the basics of using it and after a couple of hours of knob twiddling the above tune came out. I have now definitely abandoned the DAW I previously used (called Psycle, open source, buggy, not suited for the music I wish to produce, certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone) and because I'm impressed with Ableton's quality, the rich amount of great built-in softsynths and effects and the ease of use I hope to crank out some more soothing stuff soon.
I feel a lot of the stuff I have made in the past with Psycle is of dismal quality and for that reason I won't be giving it a proper release, at least not in the shape and form of the EP I released. The Jim Morrison tune is of a higher standard in my opinion, not because my musical talents magically increased but because of the quality of Ableton. I'm not entirely sure what I will do. First I'm gonna try to make some more music and if I end up with producing music in a consistent style I might give it a proper release. I might also rework some older stuff, for example I was thinking of re-editing Voyager and giving it a more pleasant sound.
Also, if anyone reading this likes my tunes, be sure to send it all your friends!
I'd love to get just a tad more exposure.

I am thuroughly enjoying this 17 track EP
I wish there was some album artwork!
These sounds are beautiful and have an overwhelming sense of DeJaVu for me. Amazing!

Kashmir Boots is the only 'amateur' 'has nothing released' artist which really bothers me that he hasn't released anything officially! Some of his tracks are deeper than most BOC and give me an even more nostalgic and warm 'at the fireplace' feeling.
What a guy.
My favorites are 'De Nachtvlinder' and 'The Path'. Holy moly, those melodies....

I agree. It's a tragedy of disgusting proportions that the guy isn't releasing his work officially.
Perhaps that's his claim to fame?

I just downloaded this.
I knew I loved your stuff, but when 14-10-2006 came on, it reminded me just how much. That was on the first or second Twoism compilation right? I must have listened to it a million times. I hate to gush, honestly. I loathe the idea that I'm some kind of fanboy of anyone.. but man..
Looking forward to a million more listens.

Ah hehe, actually the sample in Hatice Vaart is by Alan Watts, from an old documentary on hippies.

It's quite different from my usual boc-esque stuff though.
Not entirely happy with it yet, and I will probably update that link with newer versions as I make them, but it's a start.

your stuff has never really been that BoC-esque per se, but you certainly seem to capture a moment, like brain cells trying wire back together a distant memory. I just watched inception yesterday for the first time, your music is very much like a dreamscape. (yes, i cried
