All we know for sure at the moment re. vinyls is that there are two records out there and both have XXXXXX in the fourth section of the code. Any thoughts on there being more than those two out there are speculation and educated guesses.

I can't believe it! I text my BoC-loving mate yesterday saying "If there's one in London my guess would be Rough Trade East" and he just checked places in Soho. Gutted, but oh well

Our primary source for there being 6 records is what the clerk at Other Music said.

Has anyone tried calling Rough Trade and asking for more details?

The more vinyls with the fourth set of XXXXXXs they put out there, the more chance there was of someone finding it. For all we know the guy in New York might have just been the first guy to make it publicly known that he bought a copy - who knows how many more have been sold to people who are completely unaware of the new release hype.
I find it amazing that it sat there for so long, but I guess no fanbois had got down there and checked.

The temptation to quit work and go to Leeds and check there is almost overpowering.

Someone guessed Rough Trade earlier as well! I could have had people go and check. Dammit!
I'm from near Leeds too. Would be crazy if jumbo records or somewhere had one of them.

Whaaaat?! So there's more than one copy of the 4th code record?
Yeah what the hell? If this is legit it certainly confuses things a little bit. Can't remember where I read that there were only six records being sent out but I swear I did? Perhaps that was a guess. I was gonna hit up Rough Trade this weekend too!! :(
Of course we don't know the content of the record (although my guess is it's the same as the first one but who knows) or who bought it (does anyone know?). The wait begins to see if it'll make an appearance on YT later today. Happy hunting!

If I still lived in Edinburgh I'd be right down to Avalanche or Underground Solu'shn or somewhere like that right now.

I think this means it is unlikely that the last 4 codes will be released via vinyl record. Looks like that was just phase one. I hope a mysterious new twoism account posts a new locked subject with some kind of new trail clue

I tried participating "Record Store Day" stores in South Africa. Nothing.
Wonder how wide spread they are?

MARRY THEM! If I met a boc girl. id tell her there and then "Please marry me. Please."
Finding a boc girl is like finding a diamond in a pile of rocks. Underground. While its dark.

I made the last PI comment on 2020k, but I got the wrong slot order.
Oops! I just also edited my post before you replied. 6/13 is also a Thursday so even if it was right..no cigar. GREAT thinking though!
Apparently, you have the wrong slot order in your 2020k post.

It should be ------ / ------ / 717228 / 936557 / ------ / ------

(X/X/0/3/X/X if we follow that Pi theory)

so my thoughts that this wouldn't turn out too great are coming to light presuming of course
this Rough Trade vinyl has the exact same audio on it.
not too great is that they're having to feed the rest of these codes through other means.
the ideal would have been 6 different records in 6 different time zones with 6 different codes to be found and decoded. that risk was obviously too high. its turned to gimmickery now for sure, helping us cos there are types out there that would of got one of the unique 12s and sold it on or looked at it and thought nothing about going online, they may not even use the internet etc

risky business of course

I knew a girl at university with good taste in music (including Boards). I had a massive crush on her, too, but I only really started talking to her to any extent towards the end-half of our final year (even then I was shy and awkward, as standard). And she had a boyfriend.

Major downer. And she looked sort of Zooey Deschanel-ish, too. So, regrets-a-plenty, where my non-action is concerned.

Nah man I completely disagree. I think releasing the codes over a selection of different platforms is way better and more exciting.
