Oh, and it's probably nothing but Atalanta Fugiens was actually an early alchemical multimedia production. Like, there's 50 sections and each section has an engraved emblem and an epigram describing the emblems, and in each section of the work there is a short piece of music composed for said section.

Got a recording of the BoC bit on BBC today, can be heard down the bottom now

The numbers are either 519225 or 515225, sounds like a 9 to me though

yea, 50 pieces of music as well as poetry and philosophy. i found that really interesting, although it's probably not a clue to anything.
i'll be scouring the paper tomorrow, but i only get the guardian, maybe they would choose something exclusive and online

anybody thought about this?
the repeating five note figure on the vinyl (and now the BBC broadcast) spell out 51267 applying numbers to the notes in the major scale.
Well, to get us started, 6+7=13...

Haha, this is why I made the "6-number sequence as it currently stands" thread ... I'll be updating it. I wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page, and that you can find the number sequence on the first page of the forum

This whole thing is just brilliant from start to finish. As a relatively new fan of BoC, this'll be one of those things that'll be talked of among BoC fans for years to come and indeed I think we'll be telling new BoC fans all about it in the run up to future released. We were there folks, we were there.

Vinyl. Video. Radio.
What's next? Website update? Email? Another video clue? Cassette?
This suspense is killing me...I hope it will last. I'd imagine no more
Clues for today.

Thanks to Aesthetics for locking those other threads. Much better this way IMO.
I do like the number sequence thread though.

HOLY POOP!
Check this, I know it's kinda odd (and I haven't really added much to this...) BUT how do I think Trails is important?
The description reads that it was from the old Boards of Canada website...
So I went poking on The Way Back Machine, and the first site that loads somewhat for me I find a discogs section, check this out:
http://web.archive.org/web/200106062205 ... cords.html
Take notice to THIS
http://web.archive.org/web/200106091717 ... trade.html!!!!!
They were on a Rough Trade 25 year 4 disc compilation...IN APRIL (2001)...for Everything You Do is a Balloon!
Wonder how many of these old snapshots contain pertinent info? Not saying this is, per se, but it's indeed interesting.
Also of note - the whole back catalog is listed under Early/Rare with track listings!
