Haha yeah, at least it has given me time to collect my thoughts.fujee wrote:Thank god nothing too mental has happened today, im struggling to keep up.
Well, yesterday's codes didn't start up until around now. I'm still sticking to the theory that they'll be on TV. Someone mentioned Adult Swim as a possibility - the front of adultswim.com currently has a promo ad for "Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell" broadcasting tomorrow night at midnight, featuring a beard.MindElevation wrote:Nearly a whole day has gone by and still no sign of another code. I'm hyperventilating. Give. me. Code.

If it is legit (agreed it sounds that way), then we really only got half of a clue since the placement is unknown. Maybe our job today is to figure out where it belongs. Who knows, I'm borderline insane at this point.DaveJ wrote:sorry if this has been answered, just I can't find a definitive answer.
But do people regard the NPR broadcast last night to be legit? Seems unusual that they would use radio twice, and leave out the placement of the numbers also. I must admit it does sound completely legit to me, but people seem to be unsure, myself included.
Hope something happens tonight, or the pattern of activity from them will be broken and it could be couple more years ha.
I feel that it's legit, and placement will be figured out by process of elimination ie. if the remaining 2 numbers have specific positions as the other ones did, it will be easy to tell where it goes.DaveJ wrote:sorry if this has been answered, just I can't find a definitive answer.

I agree man. The Conet Wiki page was edited to contain the xxxxxx/-- etc placement too, but I agree with everyone, this is not big deal. However, i read that it appeared on the NPR site somewhere too? Have no source for this unfortunately, either read it here or on Facebook. There doesn't seem to be much of a buzz around these numbers either, compared to the previous clues, which i find odd too.North by North wrote:If it is legit (agreed it sounds that way), then we really only got half of a clue since the placement is unknown. And NPR makes sense kind of because they are a BBC equal in the states- so maybe they did one public broadcast on each side of the pond.
I actually thought this myself, it would make sense. And also stir things up a bit as having two radio ones in same day just pop in sounds a little lazy (just a tiny bit ha)Opothecary wrote:I feel that it's legit, and placement will be figured out by process of elimination ie. if the remaining 2 numbers have specific positions as the other ones did, it will be easy to tell where it goes.DaveJ wrote:sorry if this has been answered, just I can't find a definitive answer.

it has been pointed out that the numbers are coming up on Euro MillionsKeeoaddi wrote:watching champion's league atm, maybe the scoreline will be the next number
But the NPR one is still missing placement inside the series of dashes, and that is perhaps on purpose too, to have us simmer and search all things. I am pretty impressed that they got on both BBC R1 and NPR... that is no small feat in itself.DaveJ wrote:I actually thought this myself, it would make sense. No need to panic - the first clue yesterday from is only 25 hours old at this point. The NPR clue debuted a few hours after that. I think we will get a clue from UK TV tonight and a clue from US TV tomorrow. I assume we have a couple hours yet in the UK for this to be a viable thing?DaveJ wrote:yeah man, I missed the NPR thing completely actually. So nothing happening tonight by the looks of it? I'm a bit afraid that if they don't keep up this clue a day business, that it may be a while before they get moving again? Maybe the "drip-feeding" us info is the reason why we didn't get anything today, because we're behind? (I don't see how, just wondering)
Will be watching The 10 o'Clock Show on C4 here in the UK. If it's going to be anywhere tonight, it'll be there.Opothecary wrote: No need to panic - the first clue yesterday from is only 25 hours old at this point. I'll be keeping an eye out too. As people have said, one or two of the hosts might have a vague connection to BoC (Brooker using the music before, Laverne being a DJ on 6Music).Twoist wrote:Will be watching The 10 o'Clock Show on C4 here in the UK.
