It's like if AFX listened to a whole bunch of Prince before making Windowlicker, and he only had an old Amiga computer to compose with.

Massive Bereavement by Oceansize.
So enormous a 'choon' it needs more than the 26 letters available in the current alphabet. Just what the doctor ordered to blow away the cobwebs after a frankly shite few days and a perfect use of 10 minutes.

Too right. I remember in my late 20s when I was out at a indie/alternative night, when dross like Razorlight etc. were flavour of the moment and shoegaze was a distant memory, the DJ dropped in 'Leave them all behind' and I watched some of the younger members of the crowd literally stop in their tracks, their mouths dropping open when the bass, then guitar kicked in, before storming the DJ booth to find out just what the fuck was that genius coming from the speakers.
Andy Bell joining Oasis, then Beady Eye. What a travesty.

speaking of shoegaze, that new Sunny Day in Glasgow LP is pretty sweet.
Shoegazey sparkly pop with a super weird edge to it which I love.
Anyone bumpin' that shit?
