Yeass excellent piece of music Aerial. Apart from La Monte Young's Well Tuned Piano, that is by far the best minimalist composition, for me at least.

NP - the Chemical Brothers' set from Glastonbury last week - it's ace. Properly psychedelic. Switched over from The Fall's set. Much as I love The Fall, it's a bit uncomfortable to watch - MES isn't all there (and has clearly pissed himself).

When has MES EVER been 'there'

As for XTC, can see why you wouldn't.. more of a personal connection with that band than anything, my Dad always used to play their tapes in the car.

Man, I love XTC.

Yeh! I love XTC as well. Got all the albums and most of Andy Partridge's solo stuff .
He has done a lot of Production work and a few collaborations.
One of my favourites is his production on Peter Blegvads - The Naked Shakespeare. Also plays on most of the album.

Gorgeous haunting tunes

Was searching up "Plantasia" on Spotify and instead found an Italian group of the same name. I know absolutely nothing about them but the album "Musica per le Piante" is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful instrumental new-agey type stuff, most of the songs are just an acoustic guitar and a violin. Oh, and there's some field recording stuff in there too for good measure.

Just finished that one, on to Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden because why not.

I'm curious--for a long time I'd personally overlooked 'The Colour of Spring'; it was only a few weeks ago that I realized its got its fair share of genius tracks. What do you think of it? 'Time It's Time' might very well be their best album closer of all time--such an uplifting piece of existentialism expressed in the arrangement and lyrics. Curious what you might think of it.

I'm honestly fairly new to their discography, I've only really gotten into Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock. Is Colour of Spring in a similar vein as the other two?

And just listened to two Leonard Cohen albums and cried like a bitch!
