This summer I managed to get some (hopefully) good snaps of wildlife and landscapes.
I like to go through my photos at the end of autumn before winter hits so I can be reminded of the variety of the seasons in my area.
Here are a few I’ve plucked out to show you!

1: caterpillar on a gate (18th august)



2: park sunset (29th April)

If the word atmospheric was a photograph we'd have a real contender here!
I do love images of powerlines, they remind me of train travels for some reason.

It was taken in Roseville, California.

As milquetoast as that city is, it always looked beautiful during the rain.

Seriously, you guys and gals post such amazing photos, on days like this I feel like I should just run to the deepest end of My backyard, sacrifice a goat, draw a pentagram with it s blood and burn all My photo gear under a full moon invoking Satan for My foolish attempts...

Thanks! That moth was as big as an adult thumb, got itself stuck on my window.
The cat was on a street round the corner from where i am, It's a regular sight for my area.

I got some quite technicolour shots today, including this vibrant sunset.

Ahh, the golden hour...Which coast is this, I presume the northern hemisphere?

That one was taken on the North-East Yorkshire coast.
The tide was nearly up to the wall, but the contrast of lighting and colour on the beach was brilliant. I can't get enough of that time of day!
