I heard the bros like Zabriskie Point so I watched it. Haven't got much to say, it's not as brilliant as another Antonioni's yet still pretty shocking, also, sex 7/10

I watched it too (years ago) but it didn't impress me much. The footage in
this video - which is gorgeous - is pretty much the only interesting footage the movie had to offer for me. I thought the first part was fairly boring, and the repeating of the explosion at the end was stupid and laughable, although the scene with the debris falling to the ground was interesting. I wouldn't watch it again.

Speaking of Antonioni, I didn't like Zabriskie Point, but generally his films are great. I would recommend L'Avventura, Blow-Up and The Passenger. I recently saw L'Eclisse from 1962 for the first time and it's beautiful..

I really need to see Enter The Void. The only film by Gaspar Noé that I've seen is Irreversible, which in my opinion didn't live up to the hype that surrounded it but which I found interesting enough to still occasionally recall the movie and its motifs. I have posted about the band Holy Other in another thread already but check out this video of Enter The Void accompanying the song, it's what made me interested in the film:

After hours of hesitating, I ended up picking Control from the movie store and I'll never regret. It is a solid, beatifully shot story based on the life of Ian Curtis, singer of Joy Division. I've seen another Corbijn film before, I think it had George Clooney messing with based russian spies and shit, though not as emotionally powerful as this one.
Not a must-see, but I strongly recommend it.

Stalker is damn great, which has its own merit because of whole tape burning thing. There's no single passage I even dislike.
I'd also like to check Ikiru, looks like something worth watching.
