could still be. double lp = new clear dawn. lp 1 = yermo black label, lp2 = cosecha white label

So far, nobody seems to have brought anything consistant about it, other than pointing out the reference to the Hare computer virus that showed up around 1996. What SEEMS to have been overlooked, however, is certain date information in the description of said virus:
"The virus was set to read the system date of the computer and activate on August 22 and September 22, at which time it would erase the hard disk in the computer and display the following message:
HDEuthanasia by Demon Emperor"
- found on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hare_(computer_virus)
August 22 and September 22... Would that explain why this word appears at the bottom of the file? Could this be the actual information being carried over?
So yeah, this is a speculation thread, so I am, indeed, speculating.
Your thoughts, people? Anything else, historical maybe, happened on an August 22 or September 22?
I think this was talked about a few pages back. The Makus Boc interview right?
do you think it could be high def euthanasia? I mean 8mm sure isn't high def. perhaps the album is all analogue?

I don't really get how you link to the Masquerade book, but otherwise, that word at the bottom of the file doesn't seem to be there for no reason, unless they planted false leads to mess with us, haha.
uh no....I just posted that cuz this whole code/album hunt, to me, is kind of reminiscent of the old masquerade book. how it hit world wide. no Internet mind you.

Strange. It doesn't have the lock icon in front of it.

what the....ya 6 thread is locked down.

I don't know why it got locked but I'd be glad if it was since it's just become basically the exact same as this thread and it was getting really annoying having to flick between two threads in the midst of the frenzy that comes with a new bit of news. Seems much easier and less confusing to just keep everything in one place.

well the last post I read before the apparent "lockdown" was obviously a question that didn't want to be answered.

I have the 5 clues on a loop and can hear a distinct young boy's voice say "don't go!" with a ring-mod on it at about the :36 second mark in clues 2 and 6. Now I can hear right after it in clue 6 another voice saying "I'll stay!"...!!

New here - so hi all. I was totally gifted with BOC two years ago - someone left Campfire Headphase in a rental car I was using to go on a long trip with. Turned on the radio and was blown away, hooked since.
I haven't been through all the pages yet, but has the main discography page on the main site always had the blank square for the next album?
http://www.boardsofcanada.com/discography.html
I'm not good with flash, but could someone see if something's embedded within the last link? It's clearly clickable and goes blank.

alittle over two years ago, it appeared, I remember how strange it was because after that nothing really showed up, until now.
