Not joking. Definitely one of those too good to be true moments given the nature of the music/context. Sorry if I offended. Genuinely new here. Genuinely just excited about all of this.

yea Neil Krug i've seen before, didn't cross my mind this time as he's done more print work than video, also i'd half expect boc to do it alone as always and not get someone 'big' in on the scene.
this guy definitely has the analog photography down to an art form now, he has a serious list of camera gear i was reading months back. i hate instagram but he works on the print, pulling away the layers of polaroids manually and not relying on digital too much.
also i'm expecting something new, Neil Krug, Tycho, they've all got in on it and offered design to many music artists. thats great, but just would expect boc to be more 'keep it in the family' and have an unknown create it or themselves.

Yes, and I think numbers and their puzzle is not as important as how they appear. I watched the ways, imagined minds of two people who can draw wide fields by music. Very interesting spend of time. So, this ways of represent numbers can show us connections between all what we create from working to
enjoyments. It would be strange if it was simple material puzzle. Maybe sign of our life sources or something. Pyramid of numbers, buildings in empty desert, epic radio transmissions..

This relese has to be some "Cold war" theme..The video showing desolate buildings out in the desert that looks like a test area for nukes. The banner on bocs warpnet page that is a big fucking NUKE!!...And the number stations that became highly active during the cold war.....And i'm sure ive read an interveiw with boc talk about the feeling people had during the cold war and the media propaganda that came with those times.

I prefer this name too, personally. To be honest I'm not liking Cosecha a whole lot, but maybe it will grow on me. I just don't see the reason for choosing a Spanish word, seems a little random to me.

I am still of the thought that we will get 2 releases this year - New Clear Dawn (or Yerma, or whatever) in June, which would be a spiritual successor to Geogaddi, with cold war/nuclear themes, and Cosecha (or whatever) in September with a warmer sound. We'll see.

Seeing as they like to mine (to my mind) sort of, '75 - '85 as their nostalgia era, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't at least a whiff of this, I certainly remember even as a child having a sense of paranoia about US v USSR, and even China and Afghanistan; Soviet sympathetic countries if you will. And that's as a tiddler with a pretty limited understanding of world politics...

I remember as a kid going out into the fields behind our school on a little trip, or it might have been PE or something, and it started raining and we were all terrified it was acid rain because Chernobyl had just happened and we ran under trees because we all thought we were going to be burned alive or melted or something. That isn't really related but it was a funny (in hindsight) memory that thinking about this point brought up.

After 'Geogaddi' hints at the paranoia and anxiety particular to that period of time, it would definitely be interesting to see a new album exploring that sort of stuff further.
