Why does there need to be a distinguishing aesthetic feature, surely the serial numbers will prove if original press or not. Seeing as I only own 3 boc vinyls, I want nothing changed in my opinion. But then I would say that

Edit: Damn that background music is nice anyone know if that's BoC?
I was just saying if they want to sell more repressed vinyls they should release them in a special package, that way the fans who DON'T have the originals will buy the reissues and the fans that DO have the originals will buy the reissues too. Speaking for myself, I won't buy any of the reissues unless the packaging/art is different in some way.
They do it with comic books, when a 2nd printing comes out, it has a different cover most of time, which tempts the first issue buyers to also buy the 2nd printing to add to their collection. DVDs change covers from time to time too. Evil Dead is the most notorious for it. Every time it's been re-released it's had a different cover. There must be like 6 different Evil Dead covers for the same damn DVD haha.
I agree man. No hard feelings

yeah it's been repressed on vinyl twice already - in 2002 and again in 2006. maybe a third reissue isn't necessary?

How do you explain that the microsites, which are under Warp's domain, were taken down after this site was discovered? Btw, they are behind a login now, with a hint that reads "th".

my point exactly. this website thing looks more like it was put together by a boc fan rather than someone from warp. did warp list that stickers were being given away with TH? nope. did they list it with trans canada highway? not to my memory.
it just doesn't look or
feel legit at all, piss poor aesthetic whoever put it together anyway.

and this
Also, all the Itunes links on the releases took you straight to MHTRTC.
and look at the track times for Geogaddi here:
Music Is Math, 6 seconds?
Could be down to the site not being finished, but it seems a bit amateur for a Warp/BoC.

well yeah there would be mistakes to be checked, like, it is obviously not supposed to be seen yet. they wouldnt have put it live like that. i dont think its a piss poor aesthetic personally!

I thought the site looked pretty neat to be honest. I reckon it was accidentally live, the warp connection and fact its now been quickly taken offline suggests to me it might be legit.

Love it when a post by a regular sways opinion. "It's legit!" "Nah, looks fake" "Yeah you're right" "Def fake" "fucking fakers" "Yeah but, they have this info" "yeah, it has to be legit" "YES, Can't wait" "Fake, to many inconsistences. yep" "def fake" "Not BoC's style"
It's real!
it's really fun to read a snaking thread.

ha, thanks, I won't take that as a compliment though, I assume sarcasm.
I don't mean any offence I just think people are funny on forums and I am fully aware I am contributing to the madness. That's what the internet is for, sharing and making fun.
Carry on, innit.

You are right though, it's common herd behaviour not unknown to humans.
