Really hoping this is leading up to a Boards release though.

im just happy about how much different this sounds from their previous work. tomorrow's harvest had me worried that they may have pigeonholed themselves and would begin to repeat themselves on future releases. i must admit though, this sounds all kinds of fresh, and makes me think they may begin to experiment away from their traditional sound.

I WAS going to say I would love to hear more of those first 8 seconds expanded and that the faint notes that creep in briefly at 5-6 seconds really bring back some of the older feel. But after listening to the sample clip of the original track, it's in there too- so it's not a BoC touch lol. Surprised me.


I'll need to hear the full original before commenting further, to truly understand/appreciate a remix (but the visuals/video really complete the feel). The sample clips of the rest of the album sound great, so I'll find out soon.

The pitchfork article doesn't make it clear that the original 'Sisters' is not a new track. It was released on the compilation album 'Dual Form' in 2013. It also says the release date for the new album is the 26th, when in fact it's been on sale since yesterday.

Surely this will be up on Bleep in the next few days? I buy all my electronic music from them. It's all there in the cloud, in one place, which I like.
