July 2nd is fast approaching! Are we all prepared and ready to be in a beautiful place down by the seaside?!?

I'd hoped to have another little promo vid for you all, but time has run away with me so rather than rush it out, I'll keep working on it for next year's 5th anniversary. Might have a couple of other little things in the pipeline for 2017 too.

I've yet to get back to AB about transportation. He sent me a message on Facebook about tickets.

I'll get around to all that pretty soon, just finishing up pre-flight preparations.

Looks like I'll be arriving either late on the 30th or some time on the 1st. Then on the third I'm probably spending the night at the airport. This alright with you Venables? Need me to chip in financially for other things? Let me know.

Preparations in full swing now. Camping gear out the loft and checked, new batteries bought for stereo, disposable bbqs bought, blue Vinny burgers on order from my butcher, and just picked this lot up.

Everyone else - did you all receive and read the guide I wrote and emailed out via Facebook a couple months ago? PLEASE re-read it again NOW. If you've not got a copy, let me know and I'll send it again. I've included the checklist below, although that's not the only important info contained within it.

ESSENTIALS – 100% bring with you:

• Sleeping Bag
• Bivvy Bag
• Roll Mat
• Bin Bags
• Toilet Roll
• Water (for hangover purposes mainly a litre or two (max) of tap water is more than enough).
• Disposable BBQ and matches
• BBQ Food (Sausages, Burgers, Tomato Sauce, Buns)
• Hipflask (great to fight off the cold air at 3am)
• Beer etc
• Headtorch and spare battery
• Tapes (YOU are DJ! Bring music on cassette and if you don’t like what’s playing, change it)
• Camera/Phone
• Warm hat
• Fleece / jumper
• Walking trousers / combat trousers or similar
• MONEY
• RUCKSACK

Leave in the car:

• Spare / dry clothes
• Waterproofs (unless it’s raining, in which case…..bring them dipshit!)
• More water, deodorant etc
• Paracetamol etc

Leave at home / don’t bother:

• Tent
