this first one's a master copy so I guess it's technically not original.. but these are the only pics I have on my comp. I do a lot of oil and acrylic stuff, haven't done any real drawing in years..

i was just about to comment on the artwork you just posted actually. i love that soft crayola coloured pencil effect...most people seem to go over the top (at least when i was a child) and PRESS TOO HARD!!
anyways...

I've just looked at your photos on your deviant, some nice collection you have!
I noticed you have a Canon EOS 300D.. Are you satisfied with it? Because I'm willing to buy one too.
This one to be exactly:

But I'm not sure on buying canon or nikon.. Got any advice?

i'm happy with my canon - i bought it second hand and it does exactly what i want. i began taking photographs on a small olympus camera, i would pop it in my bag and would always have it with me. due to the size and weight of the canon, i find myself only taking it out on rare occasions. i often find that the canon never truly captures the picture...or at least how i see it in my mind.
i used a nikon camera in college...not quite sure whether i prefer it over the canon. hmm...i would recommend visiting your local photography store to see which camera suits your individual needs...(of course, you then go home and buy it from the internet - as it's far cheaper!)

True!
Thanks for the reply, I have some spare time to think about it, as I don't have all the money gathered yet.. I'm still a student, you know!
