Edit: Damn, these are good. Still not too fond of the tracks Tycho posted, but the rest are top notch. Definitely will be nabbing this. He's really refined his sense of melody and sampling technique.

New lone is pretty cool, I really enjoy the 2nd half of the album. Hopefully the first few tracks grow on me.

This release is a lot sexier than his other ones, if you know what i mean.

Why sidechain the bassdrum so excessively hard? I think it's really really annoying. I realise it's a part of the Lone-style since way back and it's a matter of taste, but am I alone with this opinion?

I'd like a version without the sidechaining (or atleast more discrete) on the bassdrum. Otherwise really well produced.

It's out now ? Gotta get this asap. I still love this kind of music , it's been a huge inspiration on the music I've been creating lately.

It would have been better if I hadn't heard most of the music yet. But I can't really resist listening to previews if they're available.

I can also understand the criticism about the sidechaining and all , but I believe that it's a part of the sound he's conveying. I'm convinced that if you would take away the sidechaining-effect , these songs will sound alot different. It does create a groove to the tracks.

i find this sidechaining issue quite amusing...it seems quite a few people have problems with it.
me, i fuckin' love it and don't understand why others are complaining...

compression...quantizing...not quantizing...sidechaining

all that matters is the music is good and it is, there is an enviable amount of groove in the album

the twilight switch is the best thing I have heard in a long time by anyone, playing it constantly

Like the Kona album , this is good from start to finish.

Bang up job, Lone!

I had a listen to the tracks on Boomkat, I can't really see why I would buy this when I already have Lemurian, it just sounds the same to me.

I love that all these guys (bibio, lone, keaver & brause) are into the soul stuff too, that put a crazy spin on bibio's latest stuff

This is such an amazing masterpiece of an album! It takes me to new heights within the domain of nonlinear states of consciousness. As much as I enjoyed Lone's first album, this new collection of musical harmonics touches me in a way that with each harmonic vibrating out of the speakers and projecting outwards into my being sends an electrifying and ecstatic energy of wonderment. I have written quite a bit concerning advanced states of consciousness for my book while under the influence of Lone's music. Thank you soo much Lone, you are a pioneer of a new sound for a new era in humanity.

are you referring to Lone's first album : Everything Is Changing Colour, or to Lemurian? because Lone has 3 LP's out.

Well the topic is concerning Ecstasy and Friends and so that is the one I'm referring to. However, since you bring up his other albums, they are all wonderful, but this newest one is definitely my favorite.

Edit: Oh, perhaps you're referring to when I said I enjoyed this new one as the first one. I actually did not know that the album Everything is Changing Colour existed until a few hours after I posted and when I listened to it, it was wondermazing as well. In my initial post, I was referring to Lemurian.
