I am now curious
I purchased Lemurian a while back and really dig it. Still, my pocket book is tight, so I try to make sure an album is worth the purchase.Shadowshocker wrote:Skytree, check out the Boomkat MP3 download site, you can preview all of the tracks from the cd there, rather than just the two. Also, I'd recommend checking out Lemurian.
How did you listen to it? speakers or headphones?saob wrote:Why sidechain the bassdrum so excessively hard? I think it's really really annoying. I realise it's a part of the Lone-style since way back and it's a matter of taste, but am I alone with this opinion?
I'd like a version without the sidechaining (or atleast more discrete) on the bassdrum. Otherwise really well produced.
i find this sidechaining issue quite amusing...it seems quite a few people have problems with it.Shadowshocker wrote:How did you listen to it? speakers or headphones?saob wrote:Why sidechain the bassdrum so excessively hard? I always welcome more Lone into my life, it's just a type of sound I really get down withMagic Brenda wrote:I had a listen to the tracks on Boomkat, I can't really see why I would buy this when I already have Lemurian, it just sounds the same to me.
are you referring to Lone's first album : Everything Is Changing Colour, or to Lemurian? because Lone has 3 LP's out.Soulthriller wrote:This is such an amazing masterpiece of an album! It takes me to new heights within the domain of nonlinear states of consciousness. As much as I enjoyed Lone's first album, this new collection of musical harmonics touches me in a way that with each harmonic vibrating out of the speakers and projecting outwards into my being sends an electrifying and ecstatic energy of wonderment. I have written quite a bit concerning advanced states of consciousness for my book while under the influence of Lone's music. Thank you soo much Lone, you are a pioneer of a new sound for a new era in humanity.
Well the topic is concerning Ecstasy and Friends and so that is the one I'm referring to. However, since you bring up his other albums, they are all wonderful, but this newest one is definitely my favorite.hexagon son wrote:are you referring to Lone's first album : Everything Is Changing Colour, or to Lemurian? because Lone has 3 LP's out.Soulthriller wrote:This is such an amazing masterpiece of an album!
