Totally get where she's coming from to be honest. Never thought I'd hanker back to the days when I could roam free on Twoism without seeing a soul for days. Venturing into the BOC subforum is like heading into the city centre on a Saturday afternoon these days. :lol:

I know it's busy when I go away for what feels like 10 seconds and return to see a topic has suddenly gained 3 pages... Then backtrack through it all, hopefully before it gains another few... The chances of that happening earlier this year were nigh on impossible. It's a wee bit mad at times, but it's all good fun! :lol:

also fuj, if it is not a hassle to anyone, I am developing some forum software just now and a paragraph or two on why specifically it is confusing and hard to follow when it is busy would be great; cause it is and thats a design fault on the behalf of forum software

Sorry only just saw this mate, um, I can't really say anything in particular that would help in design terms, I just think its the amount of posting which is obviously hard to follow. Maybe some sort of in thread marking system which would show where you were at last in the thread? Or when a key announcement/link is posted maybe its highlighted in some way so people don't have to trawl backwards to find the link? Im not too sure really, I think it's just because I am used to Twoism being a quieter place to post. Not sure thats much help pal but I am sure others have better suggestions than me

Maybe users could vote-mark certain posts as "important", and the end up in the "important section" of that particular thread?
