...yo.

My hopes are officially high.

I'm gonna go do some sleuthing ... thanks, Opothecary.

Be prepared for some serious adoration if you're correct.

Edit:

Opothecary, I assume these are the posts you're talking about?

Macquarie Ridge (2005) 06/06/2016

Peacock Tail (2005) 07/31/2016

Nothing is Real (2013) 08/24/2016

Left Side Drive (2006) 10/14/2016

Open the Light (1998) 12/08/2016

Just want to make sure before I try to work on it.

Thanks a bunch. Will be looking at this tonight. I admire yer pursuit ... not solely 'cause it's BoC related and, consequently, I'm weeing my pants a little, but because I love mysteries and puzzles and I'm excited to go home tonight and work on this.

I am not entirely sure where you are going with this, but then again I haven't ever been very strong mathematically. Remember that to the brothers it is 24/08/2016 as they reside in the UK (wasn't there talk of one living in hong kong now and doesn't that imply making an album with someone who resides on the opposite side of the globe or was that just an article I read in a dream) and where educated here too. As for everything else, I will leave it to those with sharper minds when it comes to mathematics to find patterns in the data as I am surprisingly slow given my abilities in other subjects.

Agreed. I'm a very skeptical person, so I enjoy reading other people's speculations.

- Order of date/month in posts not important except for Peacock Tail. If they post in March, it may matter then too. In April it won't.

- what else do the posts with the :57 timestamp have in common? If you figure that out, when's the next one happen?

My mathematics final grade was a D (dunce? lol), luckily my English and a few other subjects were A to B. Even getting a grade D required some effort.

So all the mathematical stuff? Goes way, way over my head, I may as well try to translate Japanese

Admittedly, not yet -- I think I overthought: I'm definitely a person who is pattern-minded (especially when it comes to language, but numbers is a weaker point), but I sorta backed myself into a corner -- I tested a bunch of different techniques, then got lost in the morass of confusing myself by wondering if there was anything to find, wondering if my techniques were off, etc.

I'm going to hit it again in a few days with fresh eyes.

But like you said before, it's simpler than you'd expect ... so I'm definitely overcooking my mind w/r/t it.

All math, patterns and logic puzzles, I think it will get easier for people with each step we're given. I still feel pretty good about seeing something at the end of the month, maybe even a tease of some kind in another week or so that reminds us of something else from last year's posts if we're lucky.

Don't beat yourself up about it too much in the meantime, it's not worth breaking your brain over.

What's a hoax? That they never taught math/logic puzzles in your school?

Keep going Opothecary, I don't understand it.. yet but I'm very intrigued.

Much better than some banal useless post.

And we all may learn a thing or two.
