Twoism Bandcamp?

Does anyone know the deal about the whole Twoism Bandcamp idea? I haven't really seen anything posted about it lately. Is it still happening?
I think it's not bad idea but useless - Twoism is still having it's own website system where everyone can download and also buy albumsbearhead wrote:Does anyone know the deal about the whole Twoism Bandcamp idea? I haven't really seen anything posted about it lately. Is it still happening?
I'll check this out in the morning.aimmerman wrote:Speaking of bandcamp.
I dropped a free album on bandcamp today to celebrate.
Happy New Year Twoism!
well thats not exacly true, is it. I stopped using bandcamp after I started making some change with it. I guess its great for bulk-sales but if you're earning pennies you're not getting anything.bearhead wrote:...and it costs nothing.
It doesn't cost anything to post the releases there, and there are no limits to how many releases you can have. Realistically, any artist on the forum can post their album there for more exposure to their music, and they can find their other music at the given links. I don't think any money is involved with this project. This is all for the sake of getting our music to more ears, not more money in our pockets.Cupz wrote:well thats not exacly true, is it. No, I'm not talking about a label. Just a "Twoism" bandcamp. A place where artists can post their albums for people to listen to, and then they can click the following link off of that page to the artist's bandcamp, and they can purchase the release there.Aesthetics wrote:I'm already onto this, but not sure how to shape this with the twoism artists outside of the OoT series.
There should be some offshoot label which is connected to Twoism Records but is not maintained by me (I wish I had the time). Though there should be some quality control I think to maintain the high standard which is twoism known for by now, right? How is this label gonna be named and who will maintain it?
On the other hand, there have been a few great projects on here already but all bled to death. In other words, will this even be worthwhile to start with?
True, I just wouldn't want any pennies that might fly around go to the wrong place (bandcamp), I'd rather see those invested in this forum.bearhead wrote: This is all for the sake of getting our music to more ears, not more money in our pockets.
No pennies would be made on the Twoism Bandcamp, unless there are Twoism compilations like the One On Twoism comp. for sale on the Bandcamp, which would fund the forum.Cupz wrote:True, I just wouldn't want any pennies that might fly around go to the wrong place (bandcamp), I'd rather see those invested in this forum.bearhead wrote: This is all for the sake of getting our music to more ears, not more money in our pockets.
I really really like the idea of a twoism label.
