New album coming soon, he started the mastering of the album today, said his verified twitter account.
His facebook also said on the 20th of december that we had to hold tight for an official announcement as well.

i'm psyched.

It begins!

I suspect a very decent year for music this year once again. You'll update this thread upon announcement, won't you?

this is exciting. i love bonobo, but i didn't care too much for his latest release. i like his earlier more hip hop oriented stuff. lately he's been straying towards the nu-jazz, elevator music type stuff.

don't get me wrong, i love all his records. but days to come and black sands weren't my favorites.

I'm a big Bonobo fan, so I guess I'll be 1 of the first to see the announcement, so yes, I will update this when the time comes.

Oooh a good start to the new year, new Bonobo is always welcome.

Animal Magic is still in my top 10 favourite records.

So far I've only heard Black Sands, but I like what I heard a lot. Sounds like Animal Magic is another good one to check out?

Animal Magic and Dial M for Monkey are really great jazzy/french movie sounding downtempo, Days to Come and Black Sands are more "modern" sounding I guess, still good though. Simon Green is a great arranger and composer so it always works out well. Start anywhere is my opinion.

Scuba is one of my favourite songs of his, not on any albums though.. check it out 8)

Yes! I love Bonobo, and look forward to this release. Black Sands took a bit to grow on me, but I like it quite a bit. Animal Magic has always been my favorite. I saw him live last year which was fantastic, and highly recommended.

That track is awesome! Love Bonobo, black sands is incredible imo, his music just sounds incredibly organic and they all have nice grooves to them too which make them easy to love. :) Would love to see him live soon, hopefully he'll do a tour with the new LP.

I hope this album stays away from lifestyle television. I used to love his music but all of his previous work have smothered me. I can barely listen to dial m for monkey nowadays :(

haha too true, a lot of his stuff is all over documentaries and british TV shows. They love that jazzy hip hop.

I don't think there is a single travel tv program which hasn't used Bonobo as background music.

Yeah, he has played it in his DJ sets though (at least @ his boiler room set). Huge track, can't wait for a better quality version!
