I'm sure there's a topic buried somewhere in this thread but I'm lazy... so post any hip hop acts, (instrumental or not it don't matter) or rappers that you like or want to recommend.

This song is stunning, the lyrics are the best I've heard in hip-hop. Such a shame he is no longer with us anymore, so talented.

suprised anyone knew what i was talking about :) saw him at the waterfront in norwich, really nice guy. he came and chatted to the little crowd while altj were on. before they got huge that was, the crowd was only about 30people. nice little night that was.

I used to be a massive hip-hop fan, but most of it leaves me a bit cold now.
I loved the Wu Tang Clan albums and most of the (early) solo albums from the members (Method Man's Tical and GZA's Liquid Swords especially).
I have been digging out some old Gravediggaz recently.
Dr Octagon's Dr Octagonycologist is essential. Bonkers, psychedelic hip hop.

I've been wanting to check out RJD2. I know I love his tune used in Mad Men.
I'm not really a big rap fan - I like what a lot of other people like. De La Soul, WuTang.

not in the circles I visit, but I think that Black Up is the best hip hop/rap record of the past 5/10 years, at least since Madvillainy.
