I felt it was overdue. I imagine we have a few gamers here, and there's not a gaming thread (that I've seen anyway) in the recent history of the playground.

Catalyst here is that I've just finished Bioshock Infinite and I'm pretty much applauding its ambition and narrative quality on all the forums I'm a member of. Definitely recommend it to those who've not played it (esp. if you like the other games in the 'series'), particularly because of the attention to detail and the stunning final section.

I play video games sometimes, I enjoy a good story but I'm a fan of Formula 1 games the most. I know I'm in the minority with that but to me they're fantastic fun. Codemasters has done a pretty good job recreating the experience.

That being said, I'm beyond ready for the new Grand Theft Auto. from the screens I've seen it looks like great fun!
