Hey, I found this video
on a Reddit page. It seems to have all the characteristics of a clue account made by BoC, but it doesn't seem to have any purpose. I suppose even if it was a clue it's now irrelevant, but it still intrests me. What do you guys think?

How was it deemed fake? You have a link to the thread where it was deemed hoax?

I remember that video, I was wondering if anyone figured out who made it, I kind of like the music. I think it was just generally agreed to be fake, don't know if it was ever "officially" debunked though.

Yes I like the music, I also think it fits the general sound/theme of Tomorrow's Harvest, which is why I thought it to be genuine. Alas, twas not to be!

It just sounds like one of the nicer garden variety fakes to me.

seems like anyone can upload a chord progression played with an eerie synth pad and fool at least a few people . . .

Did anyone ever sort out who posted those 5 songs in the new the new topic thread with the first being the Magic Timeline? I don't recall anyone coming forward to claim them as their work.

I really wanna know who made that song in the video...

The beginning sounded authentic to me on the first listen, but not at all on the second. Honestly though, I think, if we got a peek at their leftover fragments, this is the sort of stuff we'd hear. Lots of discontinued and to-be developed ideas.

I really like this one: There's no way I could tell it's a fake. Was it ever confirmed anyway?

it does have the hallmarks of a boc track, but in a way that's a give away that it's fake. i mean what purpose could it possibly serve other than to try to convince people that it's a boc track.

No-one claimed it. It was uploaded here by "Gem Atrium" pretty much without comment, and uploaded to Youtube by "GenchildMusic" track by track, who has no other uploads. They then spammed links to it across various BoC videos again with no comment. That sort of implies it was their music - if they genuinely thought it was BoC, they'd have commented "hey guys, have you seen this? Is this real BoC?"

Other than that, can't find any other hints as to who it was. There's a Genchild on Soundcloud who does some vaguely IDM stuff, but this lot isn't in his uploads, and it has a different sound to it... (the name "Genchild" comes from a Radiohead track anyway so its possible more than one person came up with the same name.)

Its a shame, I'd like to know who it was cos I've definitely heard worse music.

Yes, I've listened to this loads. I think it's a great little track. If it is fake, it's one of the best ones ive heard. The ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ (Soon) track however sounds much too amateur to be BoC and that picture wouldn't tie into the theme of TH.

its an interesting one alright. forgot it had that brief flash of code near the end.
there had been so much running around back and forth with vids and codes that it became
confusing for me in the end and forgot what was what. remember seeing this one though.

i think the repetitive melody throws me off as fake, thats the only element that makes
me think its possibly fake. they may have over done it there, it goes on a bit. but hey its anyones guess

the one that is heard when the reforestation logo is shown is the same as the one opening and closing the volscp video...

also the uploader of volscp is three15two
315 is the ending of the code that was finally placed at position 2 after days of speculating...
the video was found before we even got that code...
that coincidence still buffles me!
