so.. theres the normal speculation about Tomorrow's Harvest, however, what about after TH?
Any speculation of whats to come? This can range from names, music direction etc etc...
Personally, i think an ep is next. I dont know why, but IABPOITC comes to mind, sort of a sequel to that ep. I love that ep so maybe im being biased. well, what do you think?

I think an EP would be in order, but I don't really want to think about another release until I've had time to enjoy and discuss Tomorrow's Harvest.

There are probably a few EP's in the can. But I really like the fact that mdg brought up the old material again, as recently as Feb. It sounded like the new record was the behemoth that took priority over everything else. Reading back through his statements on bocpages is really interesting.
But I also think we may not hear from them for the rest of the year at least, since they seem keen on letting the releases sink in for a while and this is a big one.

I have no interest in the earlier material if that is to be a priority over anything new, I would keep all the old stuff for a farewell box set or something like that, but not while the band is active.

There's a reason it was never released since you know, probably because it's nowhere up to the standards we have grown accustomed to.

So I am hoping for new material in due time, as for how it comes to be, I am waiting to hear TH to let the thought process start.

To be honest I like the old tunes just as much as the albums (the ones we've heard i mean) and I'd really like a higher quality version of them. It's out of genuine admiration for them rather than for the sake of having a bigger collection. I'd love new stuff too of course, but it stinks having only low quality mp3s of music you love.

You could probably squeeze a couple of really good albums out of OT1, OT2, and R35TT, more so the former than the latter.

Yeah I'd really like to see what they picked as "keepers" from those 3.

An EP would make sense to me, there's still that Black Dog remix to come at some point as well, and with all the vinyl re-issues hopefully there'll be some cool extras.

The tracks from all the old tunes volumes make me feel more feelings than any of the official releases to be honest... especially the track "To The Wind"... nothing really compares to the old tunes... The simple side of boc is what i love the most. damn im gettin all emotion up in here...

On the topic of the future of boc who knows... Maybe warp knows. I have a feeling that there will be an EP release after Tomorrows Harvest with a Black Dog remix of one of the new tracks. like what they did with Trans Canada Highway maybe.

BoC said in an interview that there are hundreds of songs that they have never released.

They even considered doing an acoustic version of MhtRtC

I'd be very excited if some sort of compilation of the old stuff (a BoCset) were to come out at some point, but I don't really want to think about it until after Tomorrow's Harvest happens.
