Normally I don't like remixes of BoC. I listened to that Helios one that was posted here just now and gotta admit it's absolutely fantastic.

Anyways, it got me remembering the "anew contraption" remix. That was an amazing remix that really just sums of BoC incredibly well. For those who haven't heard it:



I don't really like this video. To me, it misses the point of BoC a little bit and really does nothing for the song, plus it just feels random.

HOWEVER, there was another music video, with clips of David The Gnome edited to match the music. This video was great, and to me that combination of music and video really just fit BoC's vibe excellently. It was pretty popular, but it doesn't appear to be on youtube anymore. I couldn't find it for the longest time, but I just found it now and thought I'd share it with you guys if you haven't seen it already (or if you would like to see it again, but can't find it on youtube).

This version seems to only be 5 minutes long and not have the full version. Plus I can tell you right now from my memory of when it was on youtube that the video is a couple seconds ahead of the audio, so a few parts don't sync up as nicely.

If anyone knows (or has) a better version of this video to watch, please share it here. I really loved this video.

Anew Contraption is one of my faves!! I'm happy to see it has not been forgotten..

Another odd remix that I favour is called "Blake Jarrell's Dayvan Cowboy Remix". I disliked it for a long time, then I had one of those moments where it came on randomly while I was at a friends house and it just struck me in a such a way that I fell in love with it. Of course, the LSD we were on at the time may have had something to do with it...but still, I'll throw it on from time to time. It has a feel good vibe

I used to host the 'Anew Contraption' (David and The Gnome version) once on my youtube channel yawg81. But I had to remove all my BoC videos as I've already received two copyright strikes from YouTube. A third strike would've had my Google YouTube account permanently banned. And that's something I definitely did not want to happen. Sad but true...

I tried 'remixing' everything you do is a balloon. It's on YouTube under St remix. It ain't great but it's the only remix I've done that wasn't pure crap! On my phone so can't link!

GOOGLE! They gave me a copyright violation strike for it..... three strikes and your account becomes permanently blocked. That's why I removed all boc videos from my channel... alas.
