Love the beginning, it reminds me of that 80s-ish commercial hook that was heard in "'84 Pontiac Dream." Very BoC-ish. And it's upbeat, while the rest of the song is a bit downbeat and appears to become rather chaotic.

A longer version would have been interesting to hear.

There is a definite feel of "start of a movie on vhs" feel about the track. The first sound signifies the video distributors logo ala http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W0NaTa7_FI, the next bit (the violins) is where we have info on the director, producer etc. We then have the panned echo bit with the low droning bass synth (the title of the movie flashes up). Next, the arppegiated bit suggests imagery that sets the scene for the movie.

you know the score thats exactly the idea imo.

and their intentions for leading the listener through these 'unfinished' tracks as they may seem, is to create an almost cross between film score tracks/song structures

It starts with a filmic intro, just like Boards of Canada - Red Moss.

It's probably been mentioned but Mike's birthday of 1st June makes him a Gemini. Also the various release dates of Tomorrow's Harvest also fall within the dates of Gemini (22nd May to 22nd June).

I thought it would have been neat if the song featured some talking or a color, a callback to "Aquarius."

Well, I believe if any of you is going to start looking for easter eggs you might as well check out the last seconds of Gemini.

This song is so beautiful. I have been holding off on listening to it more because I don't want to hear it again until I can hear it on wax. I should probably do that with the whole album but I can't help myself.
