Has anyone ever tracked down "Dive to the Edge of Creat

Hi all, This is a bit myopic but, still, thought maybe someone could render an answer...
"Dive to the Edge of Creation", the National Geographic documentary famously used in the Geogaddi song "Dandelion" is fairly hard to track down. I have been trying to find it for a while and havent had any luck. The only vhs copies ive located are PAL or rather, from the UK. Im posting this here as it is related to BOC and also will be seen in much greater frequency than the other areas, rendering a potential answer. Just thought you guys may be able to track it down or let me know where it can be seen, as im sure we would all love seeing it. Also, the episode revolves around the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and the Alvin Submarine, so im sure its fucking cool.

I have this on VHS, ain't got a decent vhs player here but will pop the clip up if I get chance.

I have had it for ages, it's sat in my room awaiting my slow ass to purchase a nice broadcast vhs player/recorder/editor so I can upload the clip, as well as do some other stuff

those two unlisted clips are the only bits floating around of the program. and as it may be available to buy via amazon, its a PAL vhs tape, which is useless to all of us americans who have the necessary transfer equipment, because all vhs here was ntsc and would just come out garbled. i wish natgeo would just make all of their old programs available. would be so much fun to watch..

Not terribly difficult to get around the PAL aspect. Not as easy as DVD's but not difficult.

ehh, its not only aspect though, its also framerate. back when i ran a film fest one year, i ended up just going to a local a/v place. how do you do it in house?

It's Philip Madoc, and I feel strongly that it's not from a movie, but from this:
Madoc's voice can be heard reading Bible quotations on a variant of the VoCo alarm clock.
EDIT: Well, probably not the clock, since it's a lot newer than MHTRTC, but it's his voice.
