"The Killings at Outpost Zeta" was used by BoC for their "Twoism" album art and was filmed in 1980. The group have stated in interviews that they had the idea for this album for years and that they were inspired by sci-fi movie soundtracks from 30 years ago.

I just got finished playing the movie alongside the album, and here are some things that I noticed:
  • The intro jingle to "Gemini" matches with the film company logo
The characters take their first steps on the desolate planet when "Collapse" starts
The slow tracks on the back half of TM ("Uritual" and "Sundown") play after a character dies
The film cuts to the POV of the "monster" during the spoken bits in "Nothing is Real", making it look like the beast is saying the words
A character types in numbers right as the numbers are spoken in "Cold Earth"
The characters move from the wasteland into the deserted lab the moment "Palace Posy" starts playing & the music swells in this track when the first victims are discovered
"New Seeds" begins the moment that the electric fence is placed around the lab, offering the characters their only hope for survival
The album ends right as two people argue whether they will survive the night
The spaceship blasts off right as the music swells in "Jacquard Causeway"
WARNING: NUMEROLOGY AHEAD The album ends with 30:40 remaining in the movie. 30 + 40 = 70, or sixtyten.
When the music video is used when "Reach for the Dead" starts, both films cut to shots of the sun at the same time, at ~1:00 and ~3:14

I thought Ludamage uploaded the thing in it's entirety - was it pulled for copyright? That would surprise me.

I was waiting for a film sync theory to pop up. If it's true, why wouldn't the album be as long as the film?

Im going to upload a synch later today. I hope I can find a copy online with the company logo though!

This could be as cool as Dark Side Of The Moon to Oz.
