most corny bullshit cliche dialogue I've ever had to sit through... but the fight scenes were fucking DOPE

that's what makes it even better! and yes, great fight scenes.... I don't feel young enough to use the word 'dope,' even though I'm 30 I always thought that word was corny.... prefer the old school terms; boss, rad, stellar, outta sightTaoTapeTao wrote:most corny bullshit cliche dialogue I've ever had to sit through...

Yes dialogue, characters and parts of the screenplay are too much bad cliche. And I'm not a fan of the design of the Jaegers, excepted the Russian one, I prefer Non humanoid mecha, more realistic.
But The fights were really epic. And there are not much good live movie about mecha. This One had some great ideas but it wasn't a masterpiece even for an action movie.

Had a blast with this film, the action was jaw dropping at times (using a ship as a baseball bat was pretty bad ass), Everything in between was average, yeah some cliches but it worked as it was just an excuse for the fight scenes which were incredible! Ron Pearlman was great too
