My friend Sawa was out in the desert the same day BOC first played TH for us. She had no idea it was happening, and was there for other reasons. She is, however, a fan. And stayed for the listening party. Here's the video she made about her day in the desert:

the end of the story is i heard they were filming a segment for the show Suicide Girls - not sure if thats true but thats what the WARP fella told me. BUT - its funny how your mind can create a total story that doesn't even exist based on a few loose details. the whole drive out we were trying to convince ourselves why it wouldn't be a live show because of this or that fact / clue ... then Tonx texts "he has to be discreet" once he arrives - at this point i am beyond convinced its a live gig and the 7 hour drive in the heat with a bad hangover is going to pay off!
so i get there and see the 'coke sign' off in the distance and think "you gotta be kidding me" then it occurs to me that i have to get to it before someone else finds the hidden treasure that BOC have carefully hidden under it ... ooh this is so much fun!
we walk a little further and i see all these inked-up girls in various states of undress and begin putting it all together: of course, live dancers for the show! wow - BOC has spared no expense and i didn't take them for hiring dancers but hey, they don't play live that often so we don't have much to go on here.
i kid you not, this was all really coursing through my twisted dome - i was a complete fucking nutter at this point.
little by little, my narrative fell to pieces. all of it - untrue. no live show, no treasure, no dancers. i promise you the story my mind was telling was better than what i was actually seeing. still, a great time and their presence did make the experience a little bit more surreal.

Cool, thanks for posting. I was wondering who those girls were and if they had anything to do with Warp/BoC. BTW, the swirly art on that building was amazing - well done!
