Fake or not?

First one matches up with the time of close3
Second one matches up with the time of Helios Sound.
Third one ive heard somewhere before, But matches up with the time of Focus on the spiral.

Focus on the Spiral sounds great, if not a little too clean and crisp to come from that era. If it's a deliberate fake, you have to at least admire the artistry.

they seem like they came out of Reason 5 or something... they just seem like digitally made tracks to me.

but if there ARE any beats like Focus On The Spiral in old BOC stuff then damn.

If someone is going to make some fakes, they better make sure the track times are correct

1st track is from the old website and is a snippet of Closes3; never heard the 2nd one before and the 3rd is a track that's been around for a few years (and I've had on my computer for a few years) and is listed as Focus From The Spiral from Closes Vol 1 (I can't remember if it is legit or not, but I've always liked it!)

It's most likely fake. But for some reason that "Focus on the Spiral" track just seemed to fit for me...

If it is fake (most probable) then I really do admire how the artist replicated BoC's tone.

Me neither, not from any of their site content, but the snippets have always been claimed as from the original site at one point (maybe before I'd seen it). From what I can tell, these all look like the same samples of these songs that we know about though.

Indeed. They are old fakes that have been laying around for ever. The Focus on the Spiral one is still up in the air of legitimacy if I recall correctly.

That first track sounds re-done, the version I have had of it in the past did not have those voice sounds in the background.

Well, if they are fakes, they did a good job of replicating the sound of BoC.

i'm gonna have to say no just because there's no tape hiss. BOC doesn't use a DAW to make music.even if its a rip from the CD it still doesn't seem right
