Sooo hello people. I've been pretty busy/distracted, but I've still been working on a bunch of material. This is the first of a couple releases I've been finishing... Wild Woods is supposed to be the idea of a would-be soundtrack to a story about a character surviving alone post-apocalypse. Each song is a chapter in his story. I had an image in my head of the character traveling in the wilderness alone, put along to music that sounds like it's from some old damaged film score.
I'm thinking I'll release this by the end of the week. Just a warning it's much more textural and loose than some of my other stuff, less structured. Hopefully someone will dig this stuff?[/url]

Yeah, that is a cool concept. I am assuming the track titles will help to fill narrative gaps as well as the tracks themselves (?)

Yes you're right. I've also included a written part broken up into chapters up on the bandcamp page

This is a really well put together album here.
Each song is totally appropriate to its chapter.

Looking at his other posts it seems he only posts some random text (in this case part of your tracklist) followed by that link, hopefully nothing to worry about...
Anyway, on topic, liking the album a lot! You managed to sonically capture the story really well. Especially the last 3 tracks were really intense. I wished some of them were longer but I'm pretty sure that's part of the concept

yeah his post confused me... but yeah thanks man, I appreciate that! The tracks definitely are on the shorter side but I'm not sure they would fair too well if they were longer. This release I don't consider as "full" or polished as some of my other stuff, but I will certainly have more stuff out this winter that has had a lotta work sunk into it. Anyhow, thanks!
