Just saw a trippy video for this song look it up on you tube.
Also had the clips from the song...
Do a search for the movie on you tube, season of the witch 1973
Go to part 3 and zoom to 7:00 in, it's a George Romero flick.
You will recognize the vocal samples.

what a brilliant turn of phrase!
but unfair, because we have more minutes of boc music than just about any other band, and each of those minutes is probably, on average, a lot more information-heavy!

It's cool when you hear something from somewhere and it's off a BoC tune. There's a drum fill in 1969 that's the same rhythm, tempo, everything as the central locking on a mk 1 Ford Focus. I know that's not relevant to this thread really but every time I unlock my car I think "huh". I may have been drinking.

^ at the risk of derailing the thread completely, I totally get that.
We've got a babies' toy (a Fisher Price "Jumperoo", Twoism parents) that plays several tunes. One tune has a *tiny* sequence of notes that is identical to an old house tune. Makes me smile every time.

The jumperoo rocks. Actually quite sad Mini-Mexi has grown out of hers now. It's away in the loft in case Mini-Mex2 ever comes along.

The real question is who is saying "number nine" on the back beat? It's especially noticeable in the live version. The more I listen, the more I'm convinced it's not from "Revolution #9"--you can hear another syllable before the voice says "number nine."
