in a few short hours, it will be 2014 - fresh year, fresh start. we all have things we hope to improve on in the coming year.

mine: record less, remember more, live in the moment. spend less time online. improve handwriting. control procrastination. do things right the first time.

It's a whole 'nother year! I plan on making even more music than ever this year, and I'm going to try and get healthier!

THE FUTURE IS NOW

Get onto the course I wish to do,
Move out of the house I am currently living in and move to Brighton,
See friends more,
Do more cycling/running,
Travel in the summer,
Visit my friend in Korea,
Read more,
Write more in my sketchbooks,
Improve meditation,
Use internet less,
Start recording music!

Hopefully I can do this! Actually I know I can.. 2014!

A noble aim and one that exempts you from more trivial matters such as world peace

I always think making changes should be a instantaneous process, one which you should not wait for a significant date to start. I know the whole idea of a specific point or passing in time is a great place to start something new, but I guess now should be the moment you change your life forever, not tomorrow, in a month or next year etc.. I guess as time seems to pass at a increasingly alarming rate (in my experience), there shouldn't be any time better than the present.

Spend less (I'm buying my clothes from a local record store instead of J. Crew these days...)
Move out (happening soon!)
Get back on my feet financially so I can return to school

yes, BUT... there's always next week, or I'll start on Monday, or I'll start in January...

Get myself to do something. Read a book, see more movies, play more video games, ANYTHING! My life is as exciting as a baked potato at this point. I'm 19 and I feel like I've wasted my life so far.
