I thought this forum was the worlds largest echo chamber!
112 seconds, tho, jeez! The hamilton mausoleum isn't far from my parents' house, I've been there, used to walk close by - it's rather phallic, but it's a pretty impressive thing to hear haha.

Hmmm. The more I read about this place, the more it it piques my interest.
Could that be a
turquoise hexagon sun I see on the doorway?
Could this be the 'secret weopon' much referred to?
No - that would of course be total bollocks, but I thought I'd beat someone else to the punch before the thread descends into a 27-page debate about old tunes (again).
Still, interesting site and they apparently do guided tours every once in a while.

Well, the gate DOES have a hexagon on it and it's kinda turquoise. I WANT TO BELIEVE.

On that topic I actually got Roisin speculating about where Hexagon Sun is. Turns out she knows the area around the Pentlands quite well. She suggests the A721 between A70 and A702, a road she has travelled often "on the way to skiing".
On a related note if that place does tours I'm totally there. That would be awesome.

Found a few old websites from around 3 or 4 years ago where it had just been sold by the MOD and the owner wasn't too sure what to do with it. Last two years they've opened it up a couple of times for tours so keep em peeled.
Can you just imagine if they used it as a live venue?!? Mental..

that'd be cool as fuck, I would love that. I mean, it's north of Inverness, so it'd have to be pretty fuckin special, but wow. Imagine the insurance and paperwork nightmare of holding gigs there tho hahaha.

I shall speculate that boc used to sneak into this place in their younger days.
