As a budding young artist, I'm curious as to how other people copyright their music. There are cheap but unsafe ways (mail it to yourself) and there are secure but expensive ways.

But how do YOU copyright your music?

I've never done it myself, but I know in the US at least mailing it to yourself doesn't actually work. If I remember correctly it's like $40 to copyright your work, which could be a whole CD of music.
