No offence, but I don't see why you would make a whole new topic for this.

To discuss:
Possible themes or ideas of the album
To talk about possible connections etc
Why is everyone on this forum a jerk?

Apologies if I've missed something, but when did it become accepted that Geogaddi was part 2 of MHTRTC???

they DID say that at the time they felt it was their best werk to date.

Colour me wrong but maybe the statement was from the op's take on G?...like He/She said...why so twitchy?

Anyway, yea i find i listen to CH and TCH and want more...although, as we have all learned from these guys...you grab the releases, run, and hold them close...thats about all you/we/I/ can do...id rather wait than have them do a call of duty on me...

btw that link thing WAS NOT ME...

I would absolutely love a follow up within the realms of the campfire headphase. Fucking brilliant album!

You already have it- Trans Canada Highway

Even the first letters are the same- TCH=TCH lol

Yeah, people say that Geogaddi is an album that derivates stuff from Music has the right, but personally I can't see shit of it.

I have this idea about how TCH "completes" itself followed by Trans Canada in the same way that In a beautiful place "completes" Music has the right, and in the same way that Tomorrow's Harvest and Geogaddi have no EPs.

this is sort of becoming a general TCH thread, but nevertheless, the album helped broaden my musical taste a bit when I was strictly into electronic music. it definitely escaped from the strangeness of Geogaddi and was a refreshing and new return to their nostalgic vibes

Long time lurker here but first post for me! Hi to all, you guys have entertained me for eons! :)

I am finally inspired to stand up and defend The Campfire Headphase. It is my favourite BoC album. It's just so mellifluous. One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard.

It also fits with this time of year, driving down country lanes on sunny evenings. This album just encapsulates Summers past, care-free lazy days with friends and a small hint of Joni....

It's perfect.

So there! :P
