Just bought a Near Mint media and VG+ sleeve (price sticker on it supposedly, I can deal) with the A4 insert (didn't specify if both, but I'm assuming just the more common one like everyone else has) for ~$50 shipped. Was same price/cheaper somehow than similar condition/worse condition 1999/2002/2006 RP's.

I figured "whatever," and though this thread is not needed, I posted it out of excitement. I have all the 2013 represses and the unreleased tracks bootleg, and kinda was kicking myself for not getting an original press sky blue IABPOITC considering it would have been like $10 more when I bought mine and was scoping out Discogs. Oh well, stuff happens. I know there will be a Hi Scores RP soon, but even so, original press is original press.

Will definitely post a pic once it arrives, and to some it might be not a big deal who have all of the BoC 12" backlog, but to me, it's going to be very awesome The only thing sweeter than this to me would be that one of five Peel Sessions CD, some unreleased BoC mixtapes, or an original press of Twoism (100 made ofc), I'd enjoy that TH promo 12" that made news and such (but can deal without, since its not really music and more just a relic than anything that would never get played) and that's about it. And those would all most certainly be priced way out of my league.

Can't wait to get down to some Nlogax on wax (and EYDIAB and June 9th) nahimean?

I've lost all hope too and I'm buying a CD on Discogs soon. MDG used to say that Tomorrow's Harvest (then unknown) would come out soon too- and we all knew how long it took...

TIL looking at discogs that the CD version didn't come out until 1999, and at quick glance, the first run is too going for same price/a bit cheaper than subsequent reissues of the CD.. and for pretty decent amount of money ~$20 range and not being vinyl.

I have had to limit myself to about 2 records a month. Never more than 2 in transit at once.

Been spying on those white vinyl trans canadas on discogs, once this fucking record shows up from the UK (4 fucking month ordeal) Ill be pulling the trigger

Bought it from a dude in Birmingham UK, I got an email saying it was sent. I waited over a month, assuming the post was being slow. After TRYING to contact the music shop with no success, I just started pestering the shit out of them. Eventually, Lee, the dude in charge got back to me saying he had been out of town and that the staff was supposed to take care of the issue (which it turns out the record was never sent, they were out of stock...)

So he said he found another copy and was sending it out immediately. Well I waited another 2 fucking months and it never showed up. I had even more difficulty contacting them again, but just yesterday Lee sent me a message claiming hes working 2 jobs and now will figure out what is going on with it.... I just want my 30 fucking dollars back at this point, or at least some fucking tracking with my package.

NEVER ORDER FROM HQMUZIK IN THE UK, they're a bunch of fucking idiots. When I emailed their "info" email, I never got a response.

Wow... you got screwed hard. I own both CD and Vinyl. I ordered direct from SKAM many years ago.

I guess I wish I got screwed hard more often then..

Do you guys know if SKAM is a thriving label? They're not very big, are they?

Keep an eye on discogs - I got an IABPOITC sky blue vinyl about a month ago for only $25 or something like that. They've been dropping since the represses.

they've always been a small label, but the last 5 years or so they seem to have ground to a halt. they barely release anything these days... and IMO the quality of those releases has dipped. I say that begrudgingly too as they were my fave label for a long time, over the years I've collected almost their entire catalogue of releases.

I think 'life' just took over for these guys and the label is no longer so important to them. but that's just speculation on my part.

Would that be the reason that the Hi Scores repress is taking so long? its a skam release unlike MHTRTC thats SKAM and WARP

You sure you can't claim back via PayPal??? Recall my wife claimed money back weeks later (around 6-8 weeks later) when a dodgy seller in China failed to deliver an iPod a few years ago. Takes a while for Paypal to investigate, but they're usually very good if you lodge a dispute with them. I'd give it a go, honestly.
