Hello, I've got a very very boring job. So here we go...
Would you rather...
:: Get a copy of all unreleased BoC material, but you can never listen to the official releases again. Or; never hear the pre-twoism releases.
:: Have lunch with the brothers, or hear them play live.
:: Get their talent and produce music yourself, leaving them incapable of making new music, but hey, you've got their power now. Or them releasing a new album.
:: Have a social live, or be a BOC fanatic.. (ok, that one's a joke.... OR IS IT!?)
Go!
please feel free to add your own dilemma's.

ok i'll bite
1. i only want to listen to MHTRC, Geogaddi, Trans Canada Highway and In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country... give me unreleased BoC in exchange for the rest of the albums!

2. hear them live while having breakfast in a diner in the middle of the desert (of course)
3. i am happy with my talent, thank you (although if they want to produce another "masterpiece" like TH i'd prefer to take their talent just to save humanity

)

What's your very boring job?
1. I'd sacrifice being able to hear pre-Twoism releases, it's a small sacrifice for all the material they've got out now and for whatever they go on to release.
2. I think that they will play live again and I'm gonna try to be there anyway so I'd have to have lunch with them, although I don't have a clue what I'd say or do. Where'd be the best place to go?
3. I'd have to be selfish here, I'd gladly take their 15 years of experience, intuition and knowledge to produce the sounds I can only dream of making.

1. I prefer the released material to the unreleased material (that most of us have heard). And I assume that they rate the stuff they've released more highly than the stuff they've not released.
2. See live more than meet, and ideally see live in a small venue, doing a warm up gig under an alias.
3. Let them get on with it.

I'm the IT guy at a company where almost nothing happens all day.
Today I changed someones screen resolution, and fixed a paperjam on a printer...
Tomorrow wil probably be another day of adventure.
Or I'll think of some new questions here

How do you resist the urge to tell people, "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

In the scenario where I assume all of their musical talent, leaving them incapable of creating new music, can they still re-record their old tracks and therefore release a old album of old tracks but in higher fidelity?
If I then released an album would it be the next Boards of Canada album anyway?

have some fun
I work for the government and I put this up by our printers and got a laugh out of just about everyone. Even the guy who comes and refills the ink said he had to do a double take, then laughed about it and said whoever put this up is awesome.

I'll have to go with yes, maybe.

hehe, that's awesome.
I'm learning myself to program gameboys at the moment.. because it's something....
Oh, and my answers:
:: Hear the new album.. I think. Although i really like the old tunes.. but i couldn't do without what i already heard now.
:: I might go for lunch.
:: I'm a way too nice guy to steal someones power. I would feel way too guilty to produce any music.

If 'yes' in the scenario that Boards of Canada are incapable of making new music, but can re-record the parts of old tracks in higher fidelity, and as they are allowed to assemble these newly recorded parts, would Boards of Canada be allowed to assemble any variety of tracks using these re-recorded parts?
