Found this incredibly strange item last week in a Tokyo second hand store of all places. I have spent the weekend exploring it but there is only one track on the unit; guess which one.

Thinking about it, "Everything You Do Is A Balloon" does sound a bit like one of the bizarre broken-English statements you'd see printed on a t-shirt or something in Japan. When I was over there I took dozens of photos of these weird little phrases on various things.

Thing is it looks like its a charity thing - that (PRODUCT)RED logo is Bono's AIDS charity, no?

It seems to be a (product) red Ipod shuffle with custom engraving, like this one;

Why only 'Everything You Do Is a Balloon' is a different matter, it's like some strange joke

So no one knows anything about this?

I just find it so bizarre. I do a fortnightly run of a number of secondhand shops because all sorts of great things pop up but I never expected to find something like this. Guess BOC fans are not uncommon. . .

If I could do a second hand shop run in tokyo once, I would be so happy.

I got a pair of shorts from a second hand clothes shop in Gifu. When summer comes I can treat the ladies to a view of my breathtaking calves.
