Re: AUTECHRE TOUR (North America)
was awesome
drove down to LA...NARROWLY missing the mudslide that shut the 5 down.
then got up early the next day..as the 5 was closed and drove 10 hours back, on what is normally a 5 hour drive,
back to SF to get my girl and JUST make it to the show back up here.
SO good. only negative...the Ae fans in SF...SUCK. jocks that were there for dance music and were confused. or dirty bearded, dreaded hippie shadow box dancing to what would be a cross between EXAI and GANTZ GRAF. :/
everyone talking, pop'n'locking or sending texts. worst crowd ever. will never see Ae in SF ever again. venue was shitty, the Mezzanine, vs LA, at the Fonda. the sound was SO SMALL at the Mezz. Fonda felt as though it was going to fall to the ground, the bass was SO intense. it was incredible!

I saw 'em in SF last night and enjoyed it very much. I keep hearing that LA was really good sound wise and I wish I'd gone now!

Re: AUTECHRE TOUR (North America)
oh ya SF was awesome. it was mostly the lame ass crowd that tainted it a bit for me...at least where i was posted up. center of the monitors, about 25 feet back of the stage. gang of try-hards.Goiter Sanchez wrote:I saw 'em in SF last night and enjoyed it very much. the Mezz was about 1/4 the intensity of Fonda, but it was ULTRA clean.
