Seven Forty Seven

On my way to work on Friday, Seven Forty Seven started playing and I noticed it started at the same time my dashcam started a new file. I've had some beautiful drives lately, and just the way things lined up for this was quite amazing. The fog, the sun, the song...it's great! Also - it was 7:47am! My dashcam didn't get updated for daylight savings time, hence the wrong time in the video.

I used the same .mp3 that played in my vehicle and put it in the track - my dashcam has audio recording but I keep it off.

Enjoy! :)

This why we can't have nice things. Consider renaming it or using another version of Seven Forty Seven and see if that works.

The fact that Warp material on YouTube is no longer available in the USA is at least killing what lingering sense of American Exceptionalism I might have had. Gotta look on the bright side here... :-)

Is BoC available in Canada? ...oh the irony...

Thank you :)

Alberta Canada. About an hour and a half north west of Calgary.

There was a couple of things in this video that really got me (besides the song, heh).

First - those fence posts after I get down the hill - those are Canadian flags that are put up to honour our veterans and are up until November 11th (it's called Remembrance Day here, and taken very seriously). They go right into the fog and I think it looks amazing.

Secondly, speaking of the fog (it's kind of hard to tell in the video) but as I get closer to it, and as it's crossing the road, you can see wisps of fog flying by at the top of my wind shield - was such a great visual!

Personally not a fan of drive and watch through the window while my favorite music is playing, but this is almost like a sci-fi :)

Could help but reminisce about one of my favorite wrestlers, Lance Storm who always announced himself as hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I miss that guy.

"If I could be serious for a moment."

Video still doesn't play in the States.

Dear Google,

You've done some brilliant things. And then you've done some "WTF enough with the ideas inspired by smoking tires".

Yours,
mr3

ps. the brilliant things are arguably preferable

Having just gotten to finally watch it for the first time (Thanks Tor), I must congratulate you on this excellent video. I half-expected the car to start flying into the skyline when all the instruments came in around 1:45, that's how well it matches up. :P

Don't let it become a number obsession for you because 747 is my number damnit! Git yer own!

Hearing SevenFortySeven for the first time on the old website back in the day, that's what started the number obsession for me. Cuz it was ever since then that I saw 747 everywhere, and I mean everywhere! At the time I thought it meant something profound and detrimental to understanding who I really am. What a trip that was. I'm long since past all that now though. But it's still my favorite number... and one of my favorite songs... by my favorite band.

Nice video though! Makes me want to visit Alberta again.

All the BoC videos seem to still be available in Canada. Woohoo! All you american BoC fans have to do is move up here. Might wanna wait 'till summer though. It's about to get pretty cold here for a while.

I don't have a passport.... :P

also, genuine lol! I haven't had a forum convo this wacky in a while. Not too much beats Canadian and American stereotypes and their relationships with each other comically. I know I'm breaking the immersion of the comedy with this, but I just thought it was hilarious. We make a good team Jango. Let's take this on tour. We already have ten seconds of material, how hard can it be to turn this into a hour long show?

We could just do that and spend the remaining 59 minutes and 50 seconds dodging tomatoes being thrown by the audience

If I ever get a dashboard cam (and a car :)) I need to do that here, the surrounding villages are known for its beautiful forests and country roads in winter

Stunishing video regardless [emoji1]
