So I was curious if most people on this board consider one of BOC's albums as their #1 album of all time? Mine is not (even though I like BOC a LOT).

Hmm...I don't think I would consider a BoC album to be my number one of all time, mostly because I have about 4 or 5 that constantly fight for that position. At least one BoC album is definetly on my "desert island" list, though.

Honestly it'd be just about impossible to say what is my favorite of all time, but BOC's releases have all the right ingrediants.

I could say that one album is my all time favourite! Then next month it will change to another band. Then back to another. I just love so much music it would be too hard to pick. But BoC are in my top 5!

MSTRTC used to be my favorite album, but I over-listened it, and it's lost enough of it's original impact that it's now only one of my favorite albums .

so is anyone curious as to what album I have at #1. I recently changed it, for the first time in 12 years.

Well the album: Nas_Illmatic [1994] is a good rap album but saying it's the best ever is absurd. He [ Marc . L. Hill] should listen to some old school stuff like " Boogie Down Productions " or " The Ultra Magnetic MC's. The best rap album from the '90s according to real rap fans is: " Hypocrisy is The Greatest Luxury " from " The Disposable Heroes Of HipHopRisy [1992] very hard to defeat, Nas even doesn't come close to that one.

Sorry but i don't care about that! Nas wasn't that progressive in Hip Hop, listen to Dälek these days, the future of rap music.

I consider MHTRTC as my favourite album of all time. Though the first time I listened to Sigur Ros's Agaetis Byrjun (Too lazy to do the fancy stuff) I was totally blown away and it definately reached my #1. But MHTRTC climbed it's way up on the list. I listen to MHTRTC at least once a week in full. Probably one of the best parts of my week.

Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" will probably always be my favorite album of all-time, and I think it's going to be pretty damn tough to beat.

The remaining nine in my top ten looks a little something like this (not in any specific order):
Radiohead - Kid A
Radiohead - The Bends
Nirvana - Nevermind
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
Tricky - Maxinquaye
Daft Punk - Homework

I'm with Aesthetics. I love BoC, but in specific contexts. I can't, say, work out to boc, or work, really. I have to be in the right space for it.

I do, however, probably listen to Aphex Twin EVERY SINGLE DAY. Don't know why. He just seems to have a wider range of moods in his catalogue. But BOC is still the best chill music.. ever.... (though Rubycon Part 1 comes very, very close.)

It all depends of the mood i'm in! I don't have a favourite album because their are so many bands i like! I'm with "thedisavowed" BoC is one that creates the best chill music! But i don't play it every day. It remains a difficult question whom i can never answer.
