The track that has been released definitely has a BoC vibe too:

Bloody hell Irv, they've -really- pushed out the BoC Boat with that. Synth patches, promo look, TH-ish typeface, the works. For what it's worth, Man Plus is a fucking great track once it finds itself after the initial murk.

Indeed - seems either a massive homage or just taking the piss out of us BoC conspiracy nuts (!)

Even the release date fade-in at the end is in the same style as the Cosecha vid.

I agree about ManPlus, really like it.

One of them at least is a big BOC fan (John Fonda?). Used to come on these boards quite a lot back in the day. Love Solar Bears and this sounds epic.

Yeah John used to be on Twoism quite a bit. I'll move this into Random Sound though

THey even copied the three suns thing, odd. I dig inspired works but this is somewhat blatantly copied, even the red ending / logo sequence, the font.. I'll still listen to it though.

I really like these guys but this apes BoC a little too much, even if they are sincerely going for their own sound with similar aesthetics.

Maybe it's tongue-in-check though, I guess we'll find out when more stuff comes out.

I think it's a safe bet that the album will sound like Solar Bears rather than BoC. This trailer just looked to me like they were having fun with the BoC aesthetic rather than seriously trying to copy their music.

I hope so anyway.
