The Incredible String Band - When the Music Starts To Play (Boards of Canada Remix)

One of my favourite albums of all time is Pentamerous Metamorphosis by Global Communication from the early 90s. Their shoegazy labelmates Chapterhouse liked their stuff and gave them the stems to their last album, and they basically totally transformed it into a new album of 5 long ambient tracks that have barely any connection to the source material at all (though it is there, just well buried). I've been thinking of all the artists that could get away with a project like that today, I'd love to hear BoC do something similar.

Wouldn't mind a Radiohead BoC remix.....Radiohead have obviously used them as an influence a few times and think I read somewhere that Thom was a fan.
Also a David Bowie BoC remix, Bowie was in to them also.

It would be an interesting mix of genres - but I would be intrigued by a mix (either direction) between Amon Tobin and BoC.
