Nothing is Real Sample Origin

If you isolate the right channel at the beginning of the track, there are two samples that I recognised had been lifted from videogames I played as a youngster. Replay the video a few times as it takes a while to hear them properly through the voices.

Oh. It would be wise to turn the volume up.

I'm not hearing the resemblance.

The volume needs to be turned up to a huge degree and one needs to be able to hear past the voices. There is a looping metalic sound identical to the sample and, finally, a kind of 'level up' sound found in rayman. I am not batshit crazy (not in this instance anyway) it is there.

I have a hard time picturing them playing video games after the early 90s

I definitely hear the Rayman similarity, although I don't think it's the same sample. I wish it was though, Rayman 1 was my favourite game growing up, 2 & 3 are both brilliant as well.

I hear it too but there's no way BOC would sample Rayman for their tracks. Well there might be a way but I just don't see it happening lol.

It does seem really out of place for them and the only reason I can find as to their using them is the song being about kinds of virtual realities that kids immerse themselves in. The 'rayman' sound is about twice the volume of the first sample which is the most difficult to hear, but if it is amplified enough, it is definitely there. Looped twice.

Well Gemini has a strong resemblance to the Doom song, so it isn't that unbelievable.

Just to further validate this. I have combined the samples. Nothing is real being panned to the left and the samples panned to the right (each of them 100%). The sounds are of such identical consistency that it starts to create a phasing effect when they are both played at once. Check it out.

This seems valid to me.

I am trying to lure a specific creature out of hiding with this in the hope he will prove/disprove the reality of it. Further lack of any comment from him in the coming days may indicate some truth though.

The creature can't be lured, he comes out of hiding only when he wants to.

I know what you mean. Very few positive sample sources (if any) have been found on TH so this should be news to people.

Do you remember how many hidden stuff he found, some people even called him crazy for hearing things that are not there, I personally also have a few my pet theories,
Back to your topic, yes that would be a legit found .
