Posted a day ago by a user with no other videos or info, but first comment is from the Hertz HZ account who has posted other yet-to-be-debunked candidates - "That start of Wouldn't You Like to Be Free in the second 0:57"
This Hertz HZ fellow needs to come visit us here and fess up or cough up.

And the small second of Wouldn't You Like To Be Free that appears at the end sounds like the verified clip we've heard, but doesn't sound like it was extracted from it.
I want to believe.

Hertz also showed up in the comments to that one Petina upload about a day ago, he said this:

Speaking of that Petina, it's almost definitely fake. See
the BoC fakes thread for some new info on it (don't wanna derail this thread). I think it's possible that "Eric F" is a different entity from Hertz entirely and that Hertz spends all day name-searching unreleased BoC tracks.

The Hertz HZ account has avatar and image of Tobacco (Thomas Fec) of Black Moth Super Rainbow... maybe it's him? Grasping at straws here.

Completely convinced that's boc. Similar to old tunes vol 2.

Spending all day name searching unreleased BoC tracks??? Oh my, who would do such a thing?

As for the track itself, the synths that kick in around 0:23 sound pretty close to the ones that come in at 0:33 in Audiotrack A14/Godever. It also bears some similarities style-wise to My Bloody Valentine's "Instrumental" EP, which would make sense given that this was supposedly the point where they were primarily inspired by MBV.
Regardless, without any definite links to be made here I'm gonna hold on thinking that it's fake unless either Eric F uploads Wouldn't You Like To Be Free and it matches up with the sample or BoC releases the proper Remmy Kid and it sounds exactly like this (which might happen after the pigs start flying). I've gotten my hopes up for tracks that turn out to be fake far too many times to get them up too high for this one.
Definitely not me!

Definitely fake. This is not BoC at all. It also sounds incredibly lazy.

I could totally imagine this being the intro to an album written as a soundtrack for some video project as we've heard they do...

The last few seconds at the end match up perfectly with Wouldn't You Like To Be Free.

Even if it turns out to be bogus, it's nice to finally have an example of a Play By Numbers fake that actually sounds like it could've been on Play By Numbers

I want to believe, But I don't want to look like a fool, so im just going to stand there super excited.
BoC or not, its not bad.
If its fake, lots of effort went into it, specially the end matching Wouldn't you like to be free.
Edit: ok If it ever turns out to be fake, who ever did this, DO MORE. I like it

Well then, this was certainly not what I expected. It's not that I don't like it, it's got a unique charm to it, but it's certainly not persuading me to want Play By Numbers any more than I currently do. Sounds like it came right out of a racing game OST.

i know right!?
that synth that comes in at 0:06 is more-ish
the only thing i wonder is why there is that small segment of wouldnt you like to be free at the end, what's the point of it being there? bad track segue?
either way i really dig this track, and im going through another 'its happening' phase with boc yet again.

Good luck with the MDG request
The thing I like about this is it's nothing like BOC. The snippet of Wouldn't You Like... is teasing, but no certainty of authenticity.
Still, who knows? Some.
Who's telling? None.

If I were trying to sell a fake, "accidentally" including a snippet of the beginning of the next track on the tape would be a pretty good trick.
