I don't listen to Boards of Canada anymore, I kind of overcame teenage nostalgia. What about you, still stuck?
Actually just listened to BoC for the sake of old times... sunset horizon with pylons and stars waking up. Oh well...

I have grown over the teenage nostalgia as well and don't really listen to them as much as I used to. Twoism is still a really cool place with really cool peeps.

Stuck in, like listening to BoC? Never really was. I still don't listen very much compared to other artists I like. The great difference is that I always seem to get back to them once a year or so for a special listening session. (It does flow by in my overall playlist on shuffle though) I keep their music special by not listening too much to it. I didn't really liked TH when it came out and I only start to see the beauty of it now. I only now start to hear what a masterpiece it is after a couple of years and multiple listens.

Does anybody on this site actually listen to BoC ? I don't remember the last time I did…

Also I do listen to BoC once a year or so as far as full albums go, but anytime I feel a craving for one of my favourite tunes of which BoC has many in such a list, I give er a listen if playing it in my head doesn't satisfy (this happens a lot at work).

I also find their music to be about much more than just nostalgia. In fact many of their tracks aren't really nostalgic at all (at least for people like me who didn't grow up with some of the sound bytes they use for inspiration).

So many of you don't listen to BoC as you used to... we get satiated by things and move on, that's perfect evolution and even listening to the music is just a background of our many activities in life. Today I listened to BoC and pictures of the past, memories came to my mind. So it is always cool to be reminded of something NICE!

Hope you don't get yourself too seriously, you are still awesome... I like to think that this all is a wonderful game, this fucking life majority can't really get it what's it all about because they have no time to be relaxed, cool and just flow... just see the news and all those smelly sweaty wiggling morons who run this planet, it's all about manipulation... but why thinking about it when there are so many wonderful things we can enjoy, as life is meant to be enjoyable as much as possible right?

So yes, these two guys with samplers building sounds made some nice flowing as it can be seen here. Glad to be back really. Other message boards die just like that, this one is one stubborn motherfucker.

It's all on the set and setting context of the listen-- sometimes the time is just right.

Tonight, it's perfectly fitting for SAW II by RDJ, I always go to what fits the present moment best. Music is so vibrant that way.

I still listen to BoC occasionally (once every few months or so), but I'm trying to diversify every day.

Holy crap! Hey Magi aka ZX!! Welcome back!! Oh the crazy stuff that's happened since your departure! Oh so very crazy stuff!

Am I the only twoism/BoC veteran that still listens to BoC every-single-day???? I listen for much more reason than teenage nostalgia, like ScienceGuy. But I haven't missed a day, that I can recall, since I became obsessed in 2003 or 2004. I do listen to lots of other stuff though.
