I've always liked the cheery melody on this song.

On the topic of deadmau5, I think the interesting thing about him is his early discography, which includes this track. He clearly has good influences, and I think some of his older tracks were actually surprisingly decent. I wonder if he would have still found success if he kept up the sound he had around the time he produced this track, instead of somewhat giving up and producing the house style he's known for now.

I like him but I dont know if the track was an ode to BOC or really an statement about the "boring" tracks (Which for me there is none)

There's nothing wrong with his house style. . . . R.A.T. is a great dance album. What's wrong is how formulaic it got shortly after he made a name for himself. Now he's just a hack who can't make anything original so he continues putting out shit album after shit album with great success.

The melody is nice enough, but writing the track is only half the battle; any 'producer' should know this...
