Finally coming up for air... After a marathon few months (actually, almost a year I think) writing, knob-twiddling, sampling, mixing, and mastering, the tracks have taken shape.

Lo-fi vintage electronica...a time capsule of childhood, eroded topology, lost philosophies, unconquered vastness.

Really enjoyed that. Glad you bumped the thread too as I'd meant to check this out the other day and got side-tracked.

The music is really strong, some of the best I've heard on Twoism for a while. For my taste, I could have done with a little less of the male vocal maybe. It sounded great but maybe overpowered the actual music at times? I found myself trying to listen through the vocal to get to the music, if that makes any sense? What do others feel?

However, I'm nit-picking. This is excellent stuff.

hey tx Mexicola; very kind words indeed. Yeah, I wanted to do more with that BoC lo-fi/nostalgia sensibility; I've always been interested in the narrative angle so this was an experiment...trying a new direction.

I made the video myself actually, thanks; mostly stock footage, if I'm being honest. Gotta love the web!

Well I thought it was great. Sure, it fitted the BOC homage genre tightly, but when it's done this well, so what?

You clearly captured the BoC atmosphere. I hear some nice twisted elements which obviously inspired you, detailed and very well produced too. Great skills there on the footage too!

Hey thanks Tyler, that's very generous. I remember hearing your 'Winter In Ontario Test' awhile back; really dig that track. But I'm in the same boat...the holidays have been expensive :/
